  1. UJ, typewriters aside, in Space A travel, it’s still a good idea to keep moving. Waiting around for unscheduled flights is, well….a waste of good time!

    1. Well Randy I suppose it could be, but then it probably depends on where you are and what could be happening where you are. In a couple of posts it will explain about a situation that we were in that we thought was much better to stay put and wait.
Besides if you are going somewhere and are at a place that does go where you want 2 or 3 times per week, why would you want to go to another place that might not? Are you saying that we should just keep traveling around and it doesn’t matter where you go to? If there is a flight that you can actually get on,do it?
And there’s also the “Different Strokes for Different Folks” thing to throw out there.

      1. I think I missed on a clarifying point. You should keep moving “towards your destination”. Minor detail, Ha ha. Of course it would make no sense to go in a direction opposite your destination.

  2. The “Further Adventures of UJ and Lita. Can’t wait for the next installment. I wish I qualified for Space A but as only a ‘Navy Brat’ I guess I don’t, hehe.

    1. Well Mark the adventure is definitely not over yet. I do still have a few more surprises in store for y’all.
Yeah Space A will probably turn out to be one of the best benefits from my military service. Too bad “Navy Brats” or any military brats don’t qualify, unless you are still a “Navy Brat” with an ID card.

  3. The Adventures of UJ! When I lived in Guam for about 5 years in the ’70s, I made occasional use of Space A travel around the Pacific. Things may be different today but some good advice I learned from an experienced traveler is to never stop moving. Staying in one place hoping to catch the next flight can be a lengthy proposition. Once, when I was trying to get from Osan to Agana, I wound up taking a flight to Yokota AFB, just to keep moving as suggested, only to find out when we landed that the flight was plugged in for a quick turn to Anderson AFB Guam. About 5 of us were manifested straight through. You just never know!

    1. That’s right, you just never know. What I would hate though is to keep moving, leave a place and a flight that I wanted comes in right after I leave. That’s why I check the Facebook accounts to see what the normal flights are and try to get there, for a better chance. It’s a bit easier these days with the computer information. Heck, back in the 70’s they were just coming out with electric typewriters.
