Time for the results of how we did for the lottery tonight. Just as expected we won nothing. Of course no one won the big one either. Remember in the last post I tried to predict what the big jackpot was going to be? I guessed it would be P296.4. The actually jackpot was P295.9. I missed by only by a half million pesos. For the next jackpot I’d like to predict P306.5M. **Turned out to be P306.6M. The winning numbers for tonight were: 05-15-53-23-31-49. They never put them in order for us. I guess they just print them in the same order they come out.
I slept in the morning of Saturday the 13th. I woke up at 5:30, 7:30 and then finally decided to stay up at 9:30. The mixed nuts that I ordered from my niece Grace arrived today. My wife wanted me to open them right away. So I did. One thing I should have mentioned to her before she popped a half a handful in her mouth was that there are pistachios with shells in there. I wanted the pistachios without the shells but those are high end nuts so they were not allowed in the nut mix I purchased. Pecans also not allowed.
My new host (Scott) has been doing a lot of work on my blogs. I think it’s shaping up and he has been more supportive than my other hosts. He’s introducing all kinds of things, some of them I don’t understand completely yet, but it seems to be getting my blogs out to more people and a lot faster.
I think I’m going to shave and head over to Mango for a while. I hope there are others there today. **I never did go to Mango but I did shave. I’m starting to get a headache. I think I’ll take a couple of aspirin and lay down.
Sunday, Nov 14th. I typed in the day & date and it just sat there all day. Nothing at all happened today of any importance. Taking a shower early this afternoon was my greatest adventure of the day. Today is the 3rd day in a row that I did not go to Mango. I did order some food there on Friday but it was delivered to the house. My wife did put up a Christmas Star out front today. Well, she got Nening to do it for her. She’s too old to be doing things like that anymore. She’s in there watching a show I recorded for her. I’m not sure she’ll like it but she’ll let me know if she doesn’t. After I finish this paragraph I’m going to look for more things to record for her. I’ll be looking for series or movies similar to Game of Thrones or Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. I’ve found several and some she liked, some she didn’t. If you have suggestions, PLEASE let me know.
I was watching a live show with 4th Impact this evening. I sent them a message saying “My favorite is Mylene but I love you all”. Mylene actually responded saying “Hello John Jackson”. It’s the first time that has happen to me that wasn’t a sports related live show. By the way if you have not heard 4th Impact, you should. They are simply fantastic. Just a couple to get you started. I think you’ll fall in love with their talent and maybe with them.
It seems that my Dallas Cowboys took out their frustration on the Atlanta Falcons this week. I also saw that the Eagles beat the Broncos. I don’t normally root for the Eagles but after Denver got lucky against my Cowboys last week, I wanted them to lose pretty badly. I guess it wasn’t really luck for Denver. Cowboys needed a wake up call and I’m hoping that was it.
I have not been to Mango in 3 days (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). I will be going today and they are closed tomorrow (Tuesday). **I’m finished watching all football for today so I’m heading out to Mango in a few minutes. **Back from Mango and had to take a nap. Only 3 of my 5 fantasy football teams did very well this week, so far. One of them still has a chance to do great for the Monday night game. The other one is pretty much a lost cause unless one of my defense players has about 30 more points than the entire Rams DEF. Highly doubtful. Oh well! Win some, lose some.
I received another Lazada delivery today. It was my USB extension for the TV in the bedroom. That way when I plug in the external hard drive for her to watch her movies I don’t have to move the TV to plug it in the back anymore. I always worry about the TV slipping if I happen to not be paying attention for some reason. I only have 1 more delivery. My USB3 ports for the computer. It is already paid for with my Lazada Wallet so I just need for it to get here. Scott will come by to hook it up and take care of any other problems I may be experiencing or things that he thinks will improve my computer and/or make it faster and more secure. So far I’m impressed with the way he has handled being my host.
It’s 16 Nov now. Nothing on my lottery numbers I checked last night. I wasn’t expecting anything but I always don’t expect anything so I won’t be too disappointed.
Time to close out. I will continue 16 Nov in the next post. Although I don’t expect anything interesting to happen today. I hope something, non-critical, will happen though.
