Glad to see your site/blog I am new to this but just wanted to say Howdy,I get a kick out of that I been saying Howdy for 60 years when greeting people, they normally ask where you from? But the Filipino’s just smile, they are great people and that’s why I am here with my Beautiful Wife Gemma. Well fellas just wanted to say hi and chew the fat for a spell.
    Thanks again for your site.

    1. Howdy Bob. I had to look that Tanjay City up on the map, but I found it. I’m glad you stopped by the site and took the time to leave a comment. Usually when I say “Howdy” the Filipinos say, “I’m doing fine”.
I hope my site was able to help you in some way and if you have any suggestions for it, I’m open to those. I’ll be happy to chew the fat with you as many times as you want.

  2. Howdy UJ,

Good post as my niece there almost got scammned by these crooks. Lucky for her she ask me about this company before she lost any pesos. It was obvious this was a scam from the get go and told her not to send squat to anyone as it was all a scam from a scamming suitor she met. She didn’t and the scamming suitor totally dropped from site after that, imagine that..haha. Are you guys gonna be able to make it back to the Belton area this year. If you do, it was a cool crisp 100 deg here in Oklahoma city area yesterday with a heat index of 108. So you should feel right at home again..hahaha

    1. Howdy John. I’m glad you were able to nip this in the bud before she lost any money. Juvic didn’t ask me too much about it, although she did mention it. She figured it out on her own. I’m pretty proud of her for be cautious and not just jumping into this. I told her and actually everyone here that I’ll believe it when I see it. Thanks to Juvic’s persistence, she saved herself some trouble.
I doubt we will get back to Belton this year, although I’d like to. We will be making a special point to get back next year though. Actually we hope to be there in April 2014, but we will see how things go. I didn’t mind the 100 degree weather when I was there, but I don’t know if my body can put up with it now. It might take a week or two to readjust. Besides, last time I went there I gained 21 pounds in a couple of months. I can’t afford to do that again.

  3. Erily similar to the scam I posted about last week where I was to send money via Western Union to somebody named Mary Taylor. The money was for the issuance of our pet permits to import the two cats. Too bad we had already been issued the permits and were all set to go when this email arrived from an BAI email address that doesn’t exist.
    Always be vigilent!

    1. I remember reading that. Seems like if you are not vigilant, then someone out there will try to find a way to separate you from your money.
If y’all have not read the story on Randy’s blog, you should. It’s another good one that could get you, especially for expats moving overseas.
