There is a band at Mango tonight. The name of the band is Moranza. In case they ever get to be popular worldwide you know they were here first. Their type of music is mostly soul and pop. I noticed they do a lot of songs from Tik-Tok (which I don’t know anything about).
Also tonight, and hopefully tomorrow a well known expat vlogger will be at Mango again. Kumander Daot has been to Mango before and did an interesting video about us. I was not there for that video and have yet to meet him. I was not planning to go to the band tonight because I am getting over a cold and do not want to reaggravate it. I do have that flight to Cebu on Sunday and I can’t be sick and get on the plane. Here is that video he made last time. The Night that Changed my LIfe Forever. It takes a little while to get to Mango but he has an interesting story to tell about Calbayog.
If he will not be at Mango tomorrow then maybe I will go by and meet him tonight. I won’t stay very long though. He seems to have a soft spot for Samar and especially Calbayog (listen to his story) but I don’t know when he will be back again. I’d like to meet him at least once.
Okay, that’s all I wanted to say. I’ve got another post scheduled for Friday the 16th. The one after that one will be about my time in Cebu. I’ll try to do at least one interesting thing while there, like maybe finding some bologna.
