This morning, 6 Oct, I was up early to watch the Bears beat the Commanders. I’m usually happy when Washington loses and was again today. I was especially happy that DJ Moore and Justin Fields did well, extra especially DJ Moore. He got more than 3 times his fantasy projection points right at the first play of the 2nd quarter. He went on to finish with a little over 8.25 times his projection. Projected at 1709.60 and ended up with 14,120 points. I hope all my WRs do as well this week. That puts me ahead in our local fantasy football league.

While the game was on the lady came by that does our manicures and pedicures. They wanted me to go out, but I said I would after the game. She was just going to come back tomorrow, but then someone else (Cousin Judith) decided to get a pedicure and when she was just about finished, the game ended. Good timing actually. I just had time to wash my feet and head out there.
Then around 1 pm it was time to go shopping. Nening and I usually go shopping. She gets the household stuff and most things for my wife. I just get whatever it is that I want. I try to keep it under P15k and succeeded today. It came out to right around P13k (around $232). On the way home we must of had an inexperienced trike driver. He didn’t know how to load the groceries in the trike and still have room for 2 people. Other trike drivers came by and explained it to him.
I went by Mango later, but I was the only customer there. They were cleaning the tables and chairs extra well today. Also, the area in back, where the small shack used to be, is pretty much all cleaned, and I think they are paving it. They already put up an 8-foot wall to block the alleyway. We’re still not sure what Christian has in mind to put there. I don’t think he knows what he’s going to put there either. Maybe he will consult with his mother first to see what she thinks. I hope it’s a game room, but I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned that a time or two already in this blog.
This is Friday, so Monday morning I will be picking up our passports from Immigration with our extension stamp in them. Then I need to make an appointment at the Philippine Embassy so my wife can get her dual citizenship. No more having to leave unless we want to. According to my dad, we should be moving back to Texas or start learning how to speak Chinese. He’s been saying that for about 10 years though. He’s 88, so I cut him a break. I hope I get to see him again, in person, soon.
I’m still following my little diet (only 2 days so far). I do not start heating up my food if it’s past 6 pm (I’ll go without) or just drink water and eat watermelon if I just have to eat something. I’m seriously thinking of walking again in the morning. Why the change of attitude? Because my little cousin here (Titing) goes walking every morning and exercise for about 15 minutes (mostly stretches). I figure if he can do it, so can I. Plus he has a home-made set of dumb bells that are a little too heavy for him to use. He’s going to let me use them. Now I can work on my arms and shoulders also.
Thanks for reading. Sorry it was not that exciting today, but I’ll see what I can do to get a little excitement in my life.
Salamat Y’all
