It’s early, 9:45 am, and I did not go for a walk this morning. I didn’t sleep so well last night, and my legs were hurting a bit, so I decided to wait until tomorrow. I’m not sure that someone that is as out of shape as I am, should be taking those long walks everyday anyway. I figure 3-5 times a week for now and then maybe get up to everyday later.
I am still doing my intermittent dieting though. I’m sticking with that. So far it has not been tough to do. I still try not to eat too much when I do eat, but my not so much is sometimes way too much for others. Point is I’m eating a little less and it’s all between noon and 6 pm.
On Friday, my niece from Australia says she will treat me to an afternoon at Mango. I’m not sure what I will order yet, but nothing too expensive. I’m thinking the cordon bleu, which is only P500 with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I’m sure my wife will not want to go but will want for us to bring her something back. Most likely she will want either a hamburger, grilled chicken burger or tacos. Scratch all that. She just informed me that she would go. I’m so surprised. She has not been over there in a couple of years (at least). I hope the air con there is fixed so we can reserve the VIP room. If not, then I’ll be bringing an extra fan for my wife.
I was thinking of ordering the enchiladas, but you have to order ahead of time.
Heading to Mango now. I’ll finish this when I return.
I’m back from Mango. Quite a few people showed up for Expat Day. We had about 20 people there but only 2 of the new Chicken Towers were served, mine and Merricks. I did order the enchiladas for Friday. I’ll let everyone order whatever else they want. I think Lita and I will be getting the fajitas along with the enchiladas.
A couple of new guys today. One here temporarily the other I’m not sure (he didn’t talk much). He’s going by the name of “Mr. Bill” for the time being.
Christian informed my today that he plans to reopen his convenient store. He hopes to have a few things in there next week and then start building up from there. He has already found someone to manage the store for him.
Movie night could start next month. Christian said that plans for finishing the staircase are already in the works, so it should be done soon. We’re thinking P100 to enter the “theater” and we will be showing 2 movies. You can stay or leave, whatever but it costs the same whether you watch 1 or 2 movies.
I’m falling asleep while sitting here so I guess I should close this out and get to bed early tonight. I will be walking in the morning. A couple of guys wanted me to walk with them, but I’d have to go across town to start the walking. I’ll pass on that for now.
I played cribbage again today, naturally. I played Joey first (or my new name for him, Joe Bob). I beat him 6 games to 2. He actually won the last 2 games and said he had to go. I also played Christian. We only play 5 games and I won 3 of them.
I’m heading for bed. Good night all.
