Beginning of the fiscal year, 1 Oct 23. Continuing from my last post, I went by Mango to pay the remainder of the money I owed. Of course, today is Sunday, Games Day at Mango, so I stayed and played cribbage for about 6 hours. Well, played and watched. I came out a little better than 50-50 today. I won 7 of 13 games. Some days it’s good, some days it’s bad.
Early this morning I did go walking again, by myself. I made sure to go just a little bit further down the road from the last time I went by myself. It looks like if I’m going to continue walking, it will have to be by myself. Only 1 other person walks around here, and he leaves too late for me. It’s already sunny when he is ready to go. I can’t handle all that and I don’t want anything to deter me from walking if I can help it.
I will not be walking in the morning. In fact, I will be going to bed a little early tonight because I need to be up no later than 12:30 am so I can check all my fantasy football teams (I only have 4 this year) for players that might not be playing this week. I get burned on that sometimes if I’m not paying attention. Games start at 1 am here with the 2nd games coming on at 4:20. My Cowboys come on during the second part while the Texans play the first. I hope I can stay up for both and also for the Sunday night game.
It was a pretty uneventful day so there is not too much to say. I believe I might have said it all already. I just finished my supper, chicken n’ dumpling, a couple of jalapenos and 1 liter of water.
I guess between now and about 2 hours from now, I will check my fantasy teams, play my game and maybe watch a video or two. Then I need to get as much sleep as I can to try to stay up all night. Coffee doesn’t help much for me, but I may be drinking some anyway. I hope this one wasn’t too boring for you. Talk with you some other time.
