[smartads] OMG!! I wasn’t up until 10:04am. Rough night last night. Sorry about that last entry last night. I was going to just fix it, but decided that that’s part of living here, so I just left it. Every so often we pull something like that. It’ll probably another 2 or 3 months before I do it again though. I must have drank 4 liters of Red Horse beer, by myself. There was 5 of us drinking, but 2 of them were drinking only a little. There were 9 liters drank, and I had the largest glass, drinking by myself. The 2 other guys had a smaller glass and they were alternating with the one glass. It was Ramil and Arnel that was doing the rest of the drinking. Seems they are good buds.
You may have also noticed that I missed my post yesterday. Well that wasn’t because of the drinking. It was because of computer problems. My C-drive crashed on me. Lost tons of information. Put it in the shop and they had problems with it too. Finally got it back today and the guy ‘supposedly’ saved some of my information on the C-drive, but if he did, I don’t see it. I do have lots of things on my computer that I didn’t have before though. I always wanted Mircosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, but couldn’t afford to get it. Got it now. I did get some Arab site that was set as my homepage that I can’t seem to get rid of. It wouldn’t let me change the homepage, but I think I finally figured a way around it.
Well I can’t get the pictures on there yet. Before the computer problems when I was downloading pictures, it would give me 1GB per picture for uploading. Now it is only allowing me 64mg (big difference). I can’t even get 1 picture downloaded without it failing. I’ve been looking for plug-ins to try to fix the problem, but I think I’m going to have to talk to my blog administrator again. He may be sorry he took me on as a client. I’ve been bugging the heck out of him.
Sarah Geronimo was in town last night. She is a sexy Filipino singer. I added a link in case you wanted to see her. We didn’t have tickets to go see her, but some of our cousins did. They bought the 100 pesos tickets (the cheapest ones) but they said it wasn’t that bad because it wasn’t that big of an auditorium. I like her voice, as well as the rest of her, but since I don’t understand Tagalog that well, I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.
Last night we ate at Judith’s house. She was suppose to make something special for picky me, but I ended up eating what they call chicken bar-b-q (bar-b-q chicken), with rice. It was okay, but not great. I brought some jalapenos and mixed them with my rice, that helped out a lot too.
I told you about the new baby. Her name is Casandra Pearl Reonal Pascascio. Filipinos are big into having 2 names as they call it, and they always add in the mothers maiden name (Reonal, in this case). I’ve been trying to get a picture of her on here, but it’s not working. I’ll keep trying though.
I’ll get on with the next Apilado on the list, Amparo (aka Bebie). She is married to Canuto Reonal. He’s a pretty cool guy too. A very helpful and intelligent man. Bebie is the mother of Cathy (an only child). She lives in Tambis I, Southern Leyte. We stayed at her house when we went there a couple of weeks ago on vacation. She is a school teacher, just like her father was. She likes to smile, like her older sister, but not quite as much. Bebie has a wicked temper when she gets mad. But I think she is wonderful, just the same. She’s probably pretty happy right now because she is a grandmother again for the 4th time. In fact, I believe she is coming for a visit to see Casandra this weekend. It’s always good to see her and Canuto (we just call him Khany). End of the Amparo story.
Tagalog words of the day: Lola (low-la) and Lolo (low-low) means grandmother & grandfather.
I’m going to cut this short today, to try to get caught up with the pictures and tomorrow’s post. Just don’t know what happen with the picture thing. It was working pretty well.
Y’all like my new theme for my blog. I had a hard time picking it out. There was another one I like better, but I was having issue with the pictures on it. They were all mixed up. This one is pretty nice and it doesn’t mess anything up, unless it is the cause of my pictures not loading. I doubt it. It’s probably because my D-drive, which everything is running off of, is smaller than the other drive that crashed. Stay tuned it’ll be fixed soon, I hope.
Salamat, Paalam
