I woke up this morning (Thursday) with a terrible pain in my leg. My left inside thigh hurt so much. It felt kind of like a crap, but I don’t ever remember having a crap like that one, in that area. I was laying down when it happened, so I jumped up and tried to make it go away. No matter what I did, it just lingered there hurting so much. Finally, it subsided, but it came right back again a few seconds later. That happened 2 or 3 times until it finally went away and stayed away. I was afraid to go lay back down, so I sat down here in front of the computer to type up a post or two. I really hope that does not come back again. If it does, I just may have to head to a doctor to find out what the heck is going on with that leg.
The movie day at Mango still is not happening. I was told yesterday, at Expat Day, that we are waiting on the staircase to be finished. The stairs he has there does not have a handrail or a cover, they are working on both of those now. Of course does not want anyone to fall and get hurt. Besides, the air conditioner has not been moved to that room yet. That is something that I’d like to get done since I will be spending a lot of time in that room on movie day (which still looks like will be on Thursdays). I still need to test my portable hard drive on their tv to make sure it works. It works fine on my computer, but you never know about these things.
My nieces, Juvic, Grace and Samantha all left early this morning, around 5:38 am. No idea where they were going (and they didn’t say). I would think that Juvic & Samantha would be bored around here after living in Australia and doing pretty much whatever they like. It can get really boring around here unless you get out and do things.
Titing just got back from his walk. I was going walking this morning, but after that leg incident I wasn’t sure if I should. I’d hate to get a mile from the house and have that leg act up again. I’d be almost crying in the street with everyone around me just staring at me. I’m sure someone would come to try to help, but it still would be a bit embarrassing.
I’ve order a little foot massager from Lazada that should be here any day now. Supposedly it will help reduce the swelling in my feet and legs while I’m sitting here at the computer. The only other way, that I know of to reduce it, is to be laying down with my feet elevated. Of course, if I get my compression socks put on while my legs are still small, that also stops them from swelling. Including shipping, the massager was only P208 (about $3.78) so I’m a bit skeptical about it. It powers via a USB, so that’s good. I figured that if it works, great, I would use it every day. If it doesn’t work I can either stop being a cheapskate and get a better massager or just forget the whole thing and not lose that much money. I think I’m going to need Nening to help me put on my compression socks after I shower (from my walk) and then just keep the socks on all day and night. She can change them again after my shower the next day.
You’re all up to date now, as of 0830 on 12 Oct.
