New Year, Old Problems
Happy New Year everyone.
Some current information before I continue with that internet problem I had a couple of months ago. I’ve been watching a lot of reaction videos on YouTube. Most of them have been of Filipino singers, Soldiers surprising homecomings and food eating contests. There are several Filipino singers that are tearing up YouTube right now. My favorite is 4th Impact, probably because, besides their excellent harmony and voices, they are all beautiful. If you would like to know what other Filipino singers I’m talking about, let me know and I’ll give you their names. If you like singing, any genre, you most likely will like these singers. The soldiers surprising family and friends have always been videos I watch. I never did anything like that when I was in the military. As for the food eating, well I figured that if I’m going to have to give up excessive eating, then I can still watch it. A few of the things that are supposed to be ‘challenging’, really didn’t look that difficult to me. Of course, they did have a few things that there I seriously doubt I could do, except maybe when I was in my late teens to early thirties. Definitely not in the last 25 years or so. I thought I’d go ahead and leave a clip of my favorite Filipino group, singing my favorite song (by them) and the lady doing my favorite reaction of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH9j5oW4iEk.
Back to my recent internet problem. I did call them early Tuesday morning (27 Nov) @0745. After being on hold for about 15 minutes and talking with a supervisor, I’m still not sure if they can help me until whatever the part(s) come in. I asked for any kind of connection until the problem is resolved. I was told it was possible, but no one ever did anything about it. She (the supervisor) would not commit to anyone coming by today or even someone calling me today. All she said, like everyone else there, was to keep my line open for a call. So the saga continues with no end in sight. If you are reading this though, I must have gotten some sort of resolution.
It’s 2:30 pm, still on 27 Nov and I guess Globe cannot or will not do anything today to get me any type of connection. I don’t know if calling them will produce any better results, but I’ll call them again around 3 pm if I do not see anyone. I have my fantasy football teams to worry about and need to adjust my lineups for the Thursday game. I guess I could go to an internet cafe, but I’m not so sure I’d remember my passwords, I’ve had them saved for so long. I might have to change them now to something I’d ‘for sure’ remember always.
It’s a beautiful, bright, sun-shiny day today, so they can not sue the weather as an excuse for not showing this time. Any connection, even a slow one, would be welcomed right now. In the meantime, it’s back to playing games on my computer. Youda Legend-The Curse of the Amsterdam Diamond is the game I’ve been playing lately. My high score is 327,440, so I’m off to see if I can beat that.

is globe the only provider there J?
It’s the only good provider available for the area I live in. Actually, I should feel a little lucky because some people that live closer to the downtown area, and closer to Globe, do not have as good a service as I do here. It’s just the fact that I do not have a choice of services that frustrates me. It’s like our electric, there is only 1 choice. That sucks too.
