Feedjit
As I am checking my Feedjit, I notice that quite a few people are checking 2 things a lot these days. One is the photos. I wasn’t so sure that too many people were looking at those, but it seems to be a trend right now. I’m going to find a way to enhance them, make them more accessible and easier to view. Pictures I have a difficult time with. I can’t seem to be able to manage them well even. I’ll find a plug in or something that will be easy for me, I hope.
The other thing that people are looking for on the blog is the old link I had on there that was a quiz about the Philippines. Well I deleted that and it is no longer there, so they get an error message. I suppose I should go ahead and put those back on there. Of course I’m not the one making up the questions, I find those online and just post the links. Or maybe I can find a test, put the questions on one day and the answers a couple of days later. When I put the answers I can also put the links as to where I got the questions and answers, so of course the person that put them there, gets their credit. That way I would also get to take the test and see what I know, and I’m sure there is plenty I don’t know. This way I can also learn about the Philippines.

Quizzes
Here is the first link: Braingle Philippines Trivia Quiz. For me the first 4 questions were super easy, but the last 6 I had to guess on all of them. I only ‘guessed’ right on one of them, but I did something I don’t normally do and changed one of my answers. I should have left it the way it was because my first choice was the right answer. So I only got 5 out of 10 for a grade of a D+. I’ll have to try that one again and hopefully when/if I miss any this time, to pay more attention to what I should be learning from it.
NOTE: Took it again and still missed 1, but I learned something.
ANOTHER NOTE: Took another quiz, which I may post next time, on Philippine geography and it was like an average difficulty all through it. I got 10 of 10 on it. Surprised me, because I was not so sure on several of the questions. Here is the link for that one: Soft School Philippines Geography Quiz. Actually this Soft School website looks to be a very good one for quizzes. I’m going to save it and check it out more thoroughly later.

New Social Network and Other Blogs
I came across a new social network, but I’m not so sure what to think of it yet. It claims that you can make money with them just by doing the normal things like what you do on Facebook all day. I’m going to look it over, but if you already know something about it, I’d really like to hear about it. Here is a link to the page I created and I’ll be working on a way to incorporate this blog into that page. Also I guess my UJ Space A Info blog and maybe my small, not so used UJ Poems and Stories, my UJ Leftovers and my very little used UJ 5 W’s and How blog. I’ve been thinking of just getting rid of that last one although it does have a few interesting topics. Anyhow, if I can in corporate them into this new social network, then we’ll just make a decision from there. The link to that new social network is here: TSÚ. Again, if you know something about it already or figure it out, please let me know some things I could do.

Other Things
In case y’all missed the story or you want to read it again, here is a decent article about retiring in the Philippines. It’s really not much that we haven’t heard before, but it does make some good points to remember and a nice reference point for people not yet here. Retire in the Philippines with $200,000 in Savings? Also in this article it mentions registering with the Smart Travelers Enrollment Program (STEP). If you don’t want to read the other article or don’t want to read it again, and you plan to retire to the Philippines, or any other country for that matter, then STEP is something to definitely check out. Smart Travelers Enrollment Program.
All the above is from 3 different posts I started at one time, but my blog was messed up and it was not saving the drafts. After it got fixed, they all popped back in there, so I decided to just do them all at once and make one post.
Since I first did these, I have written a new poem on the UJ Poems and Stories. It’s a bit of a dark poem and I have no idea where the words came from, the just came out as I was thinking about it. I have also done another poem, but I have not put it on there yet.
Salamat Y’all
