Just a quick post to get everyone up to date and to have something to post for today.
I woke up early (0415) to start my walking again this morning. I have my new walking partner, Emil, and he is a big walker. He walks more than anyone I’ve ever known. He has walked from where he used to live by the Calbayog airport to close to the RFM. For y’all that are in the know, that’s a pretty good distance. I guess about half the walking he does he is also with his Rottweiler. He tries not to go too many places that has a lot of other dogs or people when he walks him though.
The walk was okay. I survived it. I have not walked in about 3 weeks so I figured I would not be able to make the whole route, but I did. I was going to use a pedometer that I loaded on my phone to see just how far it is, but it was not working. It’s the first time I actually was going to use it, but I guess I’ll have to load another one and try it.
Emil wants to walk every day. I’m not sure I can handle every day. I was thinking more of 3 or 4 times per week. We’ll see what I feel like in the morning though. Hopefully, I will be able to do it again, and, who knows, maybe every day.
Yesterday was Mango’s first day of being closed on Monday instead of Tuesday. So, I guess I could go to Mango today if I wanted to. I may go later this afternoon. Monday Night Football comes on in less than an hour. After that I will have to take a nap. Then I may go to Mango.
I’ll have to take a shower sometime between now and then. I guess I’ll do that now. There is plenty of time before the game starts and I would feel so much better.
I guess I should wait for my wife and Nening to get back from buying fish. If I’m in the shower, then no one would be out here to sell ice. Not that I really care but my wife cares about selling ice because she thinks it makes us extra money. I say without the freezer and buying the bags to put the water in, we’d be saving money. Not to mention the more free time we’d have, especially Nening. She has to fill the little bags, sells most of the ice and makes sure the ice is not stuck in the freezer. She’s been doing a good job of the latter recently, but still, I think we would be better off without the ice selling. No convincing my wife though, so we’ll do it, for now.
That’s all I can think of to type this morning. Hopefully I’ll have some interesting things to talk about in the next post.
Salamat Y’all
